Prahran Town Hall

This fine building was built over time – Original part 1861, 1863 tower altered to accommodate clock, 1878 public library and telegraph office, 1886 police station and courthouse.

Architects: Crouch and Wilson, rebuilding of hall after 1914 fire Sydney Smith and Ogg

Interesting fact: The clock tower was truncated in the 1960s.
