Alma Doepel

The Alma Doepel is a topsail schooner under restoration at Docklands, Melbourne. It was built in Bellingen NSW by Frederick Doepel and launched in 1903. Its name comes from one of his daughters. From 1917 carried jam to the mainland from IXL in Tasmania and set a speed record of 58 hours and 30 minutes.
