By happy accident I discovered some previously unpublished photos of the St Kilda vaults in the archives.
South Melbourne Town Hall
South Melbourne Town Hall (formerly Emerald Hill) is one of Melbourne's most magnificent Victorian era buildings.
Port Melbourne Town Hall
The Port Melbourne Town Hall (originally Sandridge Town Hall) was erected in 1882 and and designed by architect J J Wild.
Rippon Lea Estate
This magnificent Rippon Lea Estate was built and owned by the Sargood family until 1903. It is now owned by the National Trust.
St Kilda vaults
The St Kilda vaults were formerly shops dating from the 1890s but made unusable by road widening in the 1970s.
St Kilda Town Hall
St Kilda Town Hall is a magnificent Victorian-era building built between 1888 and 1890. Architect William Pitt.
